I totally loved the book and still does. This one is my very first read of Nicola Yoon’s work and has taken a place on my favorite reading list in 2017. When I bought it, I didn’t expect that the book would be very wonderful. I mean the story-plot, the characters, and the way Nicola’s writing.

Speaking of characters, there are only two character which you will find in the entire book, Maddy and Olly. If you have read the blurb on the back, you definitely know that Maddy is ‘claimed’ to have a very rare disease that makes her to stay home twenty four-seven. But her life changes when she hears a moving trucks in her neighbourhood, turns out it is Olly.

She always writes an update about Olly’s family’s daily activities a few times. She also tries to make contact with Olly, until they get closer to an IM and email. They two send each other messages back and forth, until one day Maddy asks Olly to come over. But surely, Olly has to do some treatments first to enter Maddy’s place to keep it clean. And nothing interesting happens here. But the story is still so cute. Aww!!

A few chapters later, Maddy gets away from her house, moving to Hawaii with Olly. Not really moving, just wandering around. Until she gets sick and is told by her mother that she really is sick. I don’t quite remember what it is called, but it’s such a rare disease. Of course, she finally finds out that those all are only made up by her sick mother. Some people say that her mother hasn’t moved on from the death of her husband and son aka Maddy’s brother. Maddy meets Olly and they get more closer than ever.

If you haven’t read the book yet. You must read it bacause there are a lots of pictures and illustrations here and there. Once the book is in your hand, I believe you don’t want to put it down, ever. It’s truly beautiful book. I’m planning on reading another Nicola’s works sometimes soon. If you want to find out more about Everything, Everything. You need to check it yourself. –
