Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.

For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

REVIEW :

My rating : 🌟🌟🌟🌟

My review :

This is actually my second book of Colleen Hoover that I’ve read this year. I was expecting more stuffs to happen in this book. Yet, unluckily, I was wrong. Other than that, this’s the very first book that I could’t help it to give 4 stars. I don’t know though. Yes, this book was so good, but not as good as It Ends With Us. I couldn’t compare one another, but still I was expecting a lot from her. This one, for me, lacked of dramas. Some of you might think that drama lackness would be so much good in a book, but me.  This is actually my second book of Colleen Hoover that I’ve read this year. It’s pretty hard for me to get the point as well, the one that caused me that would be I’d been on my reading slump for a little longer. So I couldn’t put my thoughts right away to the stories. Lastly, if you’re a big fan of Colleen Hoover, you most likely want to check this one out. :3
